Even though the Federal Government announced, on April 30, 2010 the closure of the ecoEnergy Audit and Rebate program, renovations can still be done provided you (homeowner) have already had the initial audit conducted. This entire program was to end in March 2011 so they need a wind up period. There is some speculation and lots of lobbying happening to try and get the government to review the current program and replace it with another program in the future. So far, the Ontario (provincial) government hasn't announced any details about their participation.
If homeowners have to rely on government (financial) handouts to conserve energy then we as a whole are missing the point.
Renovation Project:
Providing open concept to a mobile home in a trailer park.
Structural damage, damage and mold from "filterglass" being used as an insulator.
Fibreglass never has been and never will be an insulator.
That is my personal and professional opinion.
